Traveling and working abroad requires flexibility in our plans and a loose hold onto our expectations. The plane trip to Rwanda was an appropriate up front reminder of this – although the change of plans happened on our own US soil. Due to weather, Josh’s flight from Cleveland to Washington DC was cancelled, making it impossible for us to meet and catch the same flight to Kigali, Rwanda. The good news is that Josh was somehow able to swing a Brussels flight to Kigali arriving 7 hours later! So, while I am typing this blog after arriving in Rwanda just a few hours ago, Josh is (hopefully) happily riding high above the Atlantic or
Mediterranean right now.
We have two meetings scheduled for tomorrow with hydro and electricity related companies: E.Quinox and Rwanda’s Energy Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA). So, after a good night’s sleep tonight, we will hit the ground running!
